World Poker Tour Announces Adjusted Dates for WPT National Philippines

The World Poker Tour® today announced revised dates for WPT® National Philippines at Solaire Resort & Casino. The $ 2,200 buy-in WPT National Philippines Main Event will now begin with the first of two starting flights on October 23, and there will be an extra play down day added to the tournament prior to the final table on October 27. The extra day will allow for a more amiable tournament structure, reducing the amount of hours played per day before the live streamed final table. With the Main Event now ending a day earlier than anticipated, players will also be able to enjoy beautiful Manila Bay before jetting to Hainan, China for the following WPT National China.

The two-day, $ 25,000 buy-in high roller and the player party will take place on October 22, the day before the WPT National Philippines Main Event.

Here are the key dates for WPT National Philippines:

  • October 22: Day 1 of $ 25,000 High Roller, Player Party
  • October 23: Final table of $ 25,000 High Roller, Day 1A of Main Event
  • October 24: Day 1B of Main Event
  • October 25: Day 2 of Main Event
  • October 26: Day 3 of Main Event
  • October 27: Live streamed final table of Main Event

In addition to the amended dates, Solaire Resort & Casino is also offering even more satellites to the WPT National Philippines Main Event. The top finishers in Step 1 Satellites qualify for Step 2 Satellites, and the top finishers in Step 2 Satellites earn a seat in the Main Event. Every Sit-n-Go is a 10-handed, winner-take-all tournament.

    • 9 pm: $ 25 Step 1 Sit-n-Go Flips (no fee)
